AI engines weight cited sources by entity recognizability. If your Person, Organization, or Product is not in Wikidata, has no Wikipedia mention, and lacks consistent author bios across LinkedIn / GitHub / Crunchbase / your domain, the engine treats your URL as a low-trust citation candidate. Even with perfect on-page structure, low entity authority caps your citation rate at the visibility floor.

citability.dev exposes WebMCP agent tools (run_citability_scan, request_audit, get_audit_result, list_audit_tiers) at /.well-known/webmcp and /api/webmcp so AI agents can call the audit, not only read about it.
